Your Fawtara date
When e-invoicing becomes mandatory for your business, and what to do before then.
- 1 April 2027: businesses whose annual taxable supplies exceed OMR 5 million.
- 1 October 2027: all other VAT-registered businesses.

Your answer about annual supplies during setup sets your date. If you are not sure, we plan for the earlier date.
Until your date, issue your tax invoices in Omajan and fix what the readiness check points out. At your date, e-invoices go through your own accredited service provider; Omajan is invoicing software, not a provider. Choosing a provider is your decision, and the Fawtara hub has a guide to it.
