How working for a client works

    Your client sets up their business

    The business owner creates their Omajan account and sets up the business. The owner is the one who declares they may issue tax invoices for it.

    They invite you

    From Settings → Team, the owner invites you by email as an Administrator or Issuer. The link works for 48 hours and only for your email address.

    The owner gives you access

    The owner chooses whether you may work in their live space, their practice space, or both, and can remove your access at any time.

    Switch between clients

    Once you work for more than one business, a business switcher appears in the sidebar. You only ever see the client you have switched to.

Or set up the client yourself

From "Add a client business" you can enter the client's business details and invite the owner by email. Nothing can be issued until the owner accepts, uploads their CR (and VAT) certificate and declares they may issue for the business. Then they give you access as above.

Helping clients get ready for Fawtara

  • E-invoicing starts on 1 April 2027 for businesses with annual supplies over OMR 5 million, and on 1 October 2027 for all other VAT-registered businesses (Decision 189/2026).
  • Until then, your clients issue proper tax invoices in Omajan, and every invoice is checked against the official PINT OM rules, so gaps show up early.
  • At their date, each client's e-invoices go through their own accredited service provider. Omajan is invoicing software, not a provider.
